| Bio: | Hi. Kaellite here, which is not my real name, but so what? Let's see, I am single, never married (though engaged twice, and came to my senses), lapsed and/or recovering Catholic, female. So you can decide if you want to friend me (as this journal will contain fan fic but RL stuff as well), you should know that I try to see all sides of an issue, but I do have some blind spots. Some things that I just cannot abide and have a difficult time excusing are: Homophobia, Racism, Sexism, war mongering.... I have real trouble understanding any of those. I don't believe that (for the most part) we chose our sexuality, nor do I trust anyone who claims to have all the answers. That said, I do beleive in a "higher power" and faith, I just don't support "organized religion" anymore, and don't take the bible as verbatim (any book that was handed down verbally, then translated so many times is bound to have things that were taken out of context, or mistranslated, or things that were appropriate at the time it was written, however many thousands of years ago, but is obsolete now). What else? I live with my best friend from college, and my gay cousin. We have just finished renovating one house are now starting work on another. I love men, but that doesn't mean I don't see their flaws (just like anyone else). I wonder what this country would be like if it had been run by women for 200 plus years. I bake (a lot, it is a form of relaxation for me), I love movies (especially from the 70's which I consider Hollywood's most recent Golden era). And I am a huge reader as well (what I read is constantly changing: one month I have an obsession about reading everything I can about Nicholas, The Last Czar, the next, all of Sue Grafton, still the next everything about Mary, Queen of Scotss and so on). I have a dog, named Neville. And if that last didn't tip you off, I am a HUGE HP fangirl especially about Neville, but I like Supernatural as well, watch Smallville for Lex (Tom Welling is too Bland for me), love James Marsden, Hugh Jackman, Clive Owen, His Dark Materials.
